Active win line

An "active win line" is the line on the reels of a slot that determines whether or not a combination of symbols lead to a win. Many slots have multiple win lines that can go in different directions, and players can often choose how many lines they want to activate. The more active win lines you have, the greater your chances of gaining a win are. But this also increases the amount of your bet per spin. Wins are achieved when symbols appear in a specific sequence on an active win line.
